The Trail to First Class program is designed for boys who have just begun Scouting and are working toward the rank of First Class.  The program centers around the outdoor requirements for Tenderfoot, Second Class, and First Class.

The staff will work with each boy on basic Scouting skills during this ALL DAY session.  Skills covered will include:

  1. First Aid

  2. Knots and Lashings

  3. Compass Skills and Orienteering

Scouts will practice skills at TTFC, but ultimately it remains the Scoutmaster’s right and responsibility to sign off on completion of a rank requirement.  A record of all skills completed will be given to the Scout and to the Scoutmaster at the end of the session.
